Meet the Doctor

Dr Larry Bompiani sat at his desk Dr. Larry A. Bompiani was born in southwestern Pennsylvania and is one of nine chiropractors in his extended family.  His father was a massage therapist and was also elected president of the PA American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA).  In June, 1980, Dr. Bompiani received his Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA.  On January 31, 1981, he opened his office on S. Main Street in Harrisonburg, VA.  He is now in his 35th year of providing chiropractic health care to the residents of the central Shenandoah Valley.

He is the proud father of two wonderful daughters, Becky and Kristin.  Becky received her architecture degree from VA Tech and Kristin her Ph.D. from Duke University.  In May, 2011, Dr. Bompiani married Jane E. Kyger formerly of Broadway, VA.  The couple now reside in New Market, VA.

Foremost of Dr. Bompiani's concerns has always been the proper diagnosis of his patients' spinal ailments and the implementation of the correct treatment program.  If Dr. Bompiani decides that your condition will not benefit with chiropractic care, he will refer you to the health care specialist that will best serve your needs.

Receptionist

My name is Marcia Sampson and I have been in health care Front Office since 1991.  In my role as Receptionist, I will usually be the first encounter that you have with Bompiani Chiropractic Center as you call in to schedule your appointment.  As you visit our office, I will be the first smile that you see at the window and will be the person responsible for assisting you with scheduling appointments and paying your portion of the bill.  It is my privilege to work with each patient to insure that your time in our office is pleasant and as stress-free as possible.  I have been a member of Dr. Bompiani's team for over 16 years and look forward to what's in store for our practice and our patients in the future.

 

Accounts Receivable Manager/Billing

My name is Nena Hummel and I have been with Bompiani Chiropractic Center since March of 2022. I have been in the medical field for over 10 years. I look forward to working with all of you and meeting all of your financial and insurance questions to the best of my ability.
